PUBLICATION POLICIES

  1. Student or faculty interview content communicated to The Synapse in email interviews may be edited for brevity and style by The Synapse

  2. Final article content to be published online by The Synapse will be sent to the interviewed student or faculty to confirm content accuracy prior to publication;

  3. The Synapse is an entirely online publication. Articles will only be published to The Synapse at this site and shared through UPS social media pages unless explicitly communicated otherwise to the interviewee;

  4. Students or faculty are encouraged to submit a photo of themselves to accompany the articles they feature in. In the event that no photo is provided, The Synapse will use an image of their choosing to accompany the article (e.g. from Google search engines);

  5. Articles published on The Synapse should not be published by any other party without citing The Synapse as the source of the article;

  6. Any questions or concerns regarding article content published on The Synapse are to be directed explicitly and solely to: thesynapse.ups@gmail.com
